Draft review of local community mental health services to be shared with staff
Galway Bay fm newsroom - A draft report reviewing community mental health services in the Galway and Roscommon area is to be shared with staff later this week.
Staff are to be briefed at a special meeting which is scheduled to take place on Friday
The review is to focus on residential care settings and resources, including the facility at Toghermore in Tuam.
A decision was made last December to wind the 18 bed facility down after a report revealed fire safety shortfalls.
The staff meeting is being held to ensure their views are incorporated.
A final report with recommendations will then be made available to the HSE West in the Autumn.
