Derelict Portumna hotel to be placed on market

Galway Labour Senator Lorraine Higgins says receivers Grant Thornton plan to sell the hotel in its current state.

It follows an arbitration hearing last month.

Senator Higgins told Galway Bay fm news she's hopeful that the facility will be bought and redeveloped to bring key jobs to the area.
