Galway West TD Derek Nolan has described as despicable the behaviour of The Galway Alliance Against War for holding a demonstration outside his parents’ home

The Labour deputy told the GAAW in advance of yesterday afternoon's protest at the house in Riverside that he no longer lived there.

However, about 20 protesters held a half hour demonstration

Spokesperson for GAAW Niall Farrell says the protest was held at the TD'S parents’ home because it's the address he's registered at.

The anti-war group wanted to highlight its concerns about a recent Garda raid at Niall Farrell’s home during which a number of computers and DVDs were confiscated.
