The Minister for Defence is considering the findings of a review into the deaths of three Irish soldiers - one of whom was based in Renmore Barracks.
The soldiers were killed when their truck rolled over a landmine while on peace keeping duty in Lebanon in March 1989.
Ballinrobe native Corporal Fintan Heneghan was based at Renmore Barracks before he was deployed to Lebanon which was engaged in a bloody civil war at the time.
He was joined by Private Mannix Armstrong and Private Thomas Walsh who also lost their lives in the landmine blast.
