Decision due in March on Oughterard treatment Plant

Progress on a new wastewater treatment plant for Oughterard is moving forward.
The County Council has submitted an application to An Bord Pleanála for the scheme to be 'appropriately assessed.

The planning process is expected to take 6 months, with a decision due in March next year. )4/3/14)
It's the second application of this kind made by the County Council.
Earlier this month, the treatment plant for Kinvara was given the go-ahead under the same process.
