Death of man on Shop Street not thought to be suspicious

The body of a man found on Shop Street in Galway city centre this morning has been removed to University Hospital Galway

The body was found between Treasure Chest and the Galway Camera Shop after 7 this morning

The scene has been sealed off by Gardai from Mill Street station but at this early stage the death is not believed to be suspicious

It's understood the man who died is in his thirties and is a native of the city
