DAY TWO OF HEARING ON MOYCULLEN BYPASS

Date Published: 02-May-2012
An oral hearing with An Bord Pleanala continues in the Westwood Hotel today, in the planning process for the Moycullen by-pass.
The panel will listen to submissions from Galway County Council today regarding various specific planning issues, like noise and air, relating to the work, which will take at least two years, and may result in an increase of local traffic by some 20% during the works.
The planning hearing is expected to continue into tomorrow, and a decision on the by-pass will be finalised in mid-June.
