DATE FOR ORAL HEARING ON CONNEMARA GREENWAY PROJECT PUSHED OUT

Date Published: 09-Nov-2012
The date for the oral hearing on the Connemara greenway project has been pushed out by two weeks.
It follows a request by the County Council planning department to An Bord Pleanala to defer the date over 'staffing issues'.
The board says it's not unusual to get such requests and letters have now been re-issued to interested parties advising of the change of date.
At the hearing, landowners, residents and other interested parties will have their say on the proposed 52 kilometre walking and cycling route from Clifden to Oughterard.
It's taking place at the Clifden Station House Hotel from the 11th to the 13th of December.
