CUTBACKS TO GALWAY BUS EIREANN SERVICES TO BE DECIDED NEXT WEEK

Cutbacks to Bus Éireann services in Galway and throughout the country will be ironed out at a Labour Court meeting next week.The move follows unsuccessful talks between unions and management at Bus Eireann at the Labour Relations Commission.A spokesperson for Bus Éireann says that cuts to jobs and bus routes in Galway cannot be confirmed until the Labour Court makes its decision on the company's proposals early next week.
