COURT HEARING ON JOE MCNAMARA ACHILL STRUCTURE

A move to try to demolish Achill Island's answer to Stonehenge is before the High Court today.

The developer behind the unusual structure is Joe McNamara, who is from Achill but has an address in Salthill, Galway.

He was previously arrested for driving a cement mixer up to Leinster House in protest at Anglo Irish Bank.
