COURT FOR MAN OVER SALTHILL ATTEMPTED BURGLARIES

A man in his late teens has been remanded in custody to appear before Galway District Court next week in connection with a spate of recent attempted robberies in the Salthill area.

Tyrone Crockford, with an address at 53 Glenard Crescent, Salthill was arrested by Gardai yesterday evening in the Dr Mannix Road area under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

He's charged with the attempted robbery of three women in the Churchfields, Devon Park and Grattan Court areas last Saturday [Nov 19].

The man will appear again before Galway District Court next Wednesday, November 30th.
