County survey work for water metering to begin next week

Survey work for domestic water metering is to begin in certain areas of the county from next week.

Director of Services Jim Cullen told this week’s meeting of the local authority that survey work will commence from next week.

He said the council employees will have identification when visiting households.

This process will start in Barna and also in areas towards the east of the county such as Kinvara.

It will then be rolled out countywide over seven to 12 months.
