County council jointly hosts conference on Lough Derg's potential
A conference jointly organised by Galway County Council will be held in Tipperary next week to discuss the ways in which Lough Derg can be utilised.
The conference is called Lough Derg on the Shannon: Realising our potential.
It will take place in the Lakeside Hotel in Ballina in Tipperary next Wed (may 28) at 9.30am and pre registration is needed.
Marie Mannion, Heritage Officer for Galway County Council says the conference aims to promote the lakes rich heritage.
