County Council expected to come in on budget this year
The head of finance at Galway County Council is expecting that they will come in on budget at the end of this year.
The financial report for the first quarter of this year reveals a small deficit of 7 and a half thousand euro.
Gerard Mullarkey says this deficit is not a real concern at this time.
However, the overall result for 20-12 shows a deficit of almost half a million euro.
Gerard Mullarkey says this is likely to be addressed in the 20-14 budget.
