COUNCILLOR WANTS N17 IN TUAM REPAIRED

The condition of the N17 road in Tuam is "dangerous for motorists, pedestrians and residents", according to a local councillor.Councillor Seán Canney wants the National Roads Authority to allocate money to carry out remedial works on the stretch of road immediately.He says it's unacceptable to let a national primary route fall into such a state of disrepair, because of heavy rainfall and potholes.
