Oranmore residents should take precedence over a salt marsh when deciding the location of a new roundabout. That's according to county councillor Jim Cuddy who's objecting to the council's choice of location for a new roundabout at the Beal an Bradán bridge on the Oranmore/Maree Road. Cllr Cuddy believes there's no evidence a roundabout closer to Oranmore would damage either the Salt Marsh or the Special Area of Conservation.
