COUNCIL URGED TO INVESTIGATE KNOCKNACARRA SEWAGE PROBLEM

The City Council must immediately investigate why water and raw sewage is flowing from manhole covers in Knocknacarra.
That's the view of Councillor, Donal Lyons, who has called on the Council this week to get to the bottom of the problem.
He says residents on the Ballymoneen Road have complained of discharges of raw sewage on the road.
Councillor Lyons says there are serious health and safety concerns as a result.
