COUNCIL REFUSES EXTRA TIME FOR KNOCKNACARRA HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

Galway city council is refusing extra time to build a new housing development on the Ballymoneen Road in Knocknacarra.

Kapstone limited applied for an extension to their proposed build at a site in Ballyburke in February.

The company was initially granted permission in 2007 to build over 200 residential units as well as a creche and a doctors surgery.
