COUNCIL CRITICISED OVER CLOSURE OF LACKAGH OFFICE

The County Council is being criticised over a decision to close the area office in Lackagh.

The office will close next March and from then on, people living in the area will have to phone a designated number with queries or complaints.

Local area Councillor Jim Cuddy says the County Council has effectively downgraded the Oranmore electoral area.
