Contracts signed for acquisition of Galway Airport

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Contracts have now been signed for Galway City and County Council's acquisition of Galway Airport. The Chief Executive of Galway City Council Brendan McGrath has signed the agreement to purchase lands from Galway Corrib Airport Ltd. The local authorities announced their plan to purchase the Carnmore based facility last November. The joint venture costs more than a million euro. It's expected the contract will be fully executed within the coming days.
