Contract signing for Ballinasloe library project

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The contracts have been signed for the new Ballinsloe Library project. The project will take sixty weeks to complete and will cost in the region of 2.9 million euro. The existing library building at Fairgreen opened in 1971, and is no longer suitable for a modern library service. Ballinasloe Town Council purchased the Convent of Mercy building and adjoining convent chapel on Society Street in 2006 with a view to refurbishing the buildings for use as a branch library. Local councillor Michael Finnerty says it's good news for the town. The post Contract signing for Ballinasloe library project appeared first on Galway Bay FM.
