The CEO and general manager of the contracting company that run a refugee centre in the city have travelled to the site to help resolve a dispute with residents.
An emergency meeting at Lisbrook House, the former Ibis Hotel, on the Headford road was called this morning after over 100 residents protested inside the building.
It's understood that management took note of issues raised by demonstrators, which includes concerns over food and accommodation.
Around 30 staff are employed at Lisbrook House, which accommodates up to 250 refugees.
The Department of Justice has confirmed that representatives of the contracting company, Bridgestock limited, are meeting at Lisbrook House to help resolve the dispute.
