Galway West Fine Gael T.D. Seán Kyne has tabled a number of Dáil questions to the Minister for Social Protection in relation to services through the Irish language in the new centralised community welfare system.

Connemara people may have to travel over 60 kilometers to meet an Irish speaking community welfare officer under the proposed new system.

Deputy Kyne has tabled questions to Minister Joan Burton about the changes and says he expects answers next week.
