CONNEMARA GROUP TAKES SEPTIC TANK PROTEST TO THE DAIL

A group from Connemara is to bring its protest against septic tank charges to the Dáil this Wednesday [Jan 25].

The march will take place outside Leinster House where the Septic Tank Bill is scheduled to be discussed.

Twelve public meetings have already been held in the Connemara region on the issue, as well as a protest in the city last month.

Connemara Councillor Seosamh Ó Cuaig says Wednesday's protest may be the final opportunity to highlight the level of local concern surrounding the issue.
