Galway Bay Fm news.
A book about Connemara and its landscape by author and environmentalist, Tim Robinson, has been translated to the French language and is to be officially launched in Brittany in June.
This new publication comes as the publishing company “Folding Landscapes” - founded by Tim and Mairéad Robinson in Roundstone - reaches the thirty year mark.
Tim Robinson has published twelve major works - including maps and books about the Burren, the Aran Islands and Connemara since “Folding Landscapes” was set up in 1984.
His Connemara Trilogy was seen as an insightful series of books about Connemara, its history, its landscape and its people.
One of these books - “Listening to the Wind” - has now been translated into French and will be launched in Brittany in June. This book is focused on the landscape.
