A large number of Connemara people were amongst the attendance of over 1,000 at the official launch this weekend of Martin Walsh's campaign in the contest for Mayor of Boston.

State Representative Walsh's mother…and his late father…are both Connemara natives and his campaign to win the Mayor's job in Boston is being closely watched west of the Corrib, as well.
