CONCERNS OVER SAFETY AT PRIME KNOCKNACARRA JUNCTION

Date Published: 12-Mar-2012

Galway West Councillor Donal Lyons is appealing to Galway City Council to install signage on either side of the new pedestrian crossing on the Clybaun Road.

The crossing was erected to allow pedestrians to safely cross the busy road but those using it have expressed concern that some motorists are not stopping.

The notice of motion is to be put before Mayor Hildegard Naughton at tonight's council meeting.
