CONCERNS OVER LACK OF CEMETERY SPACE IN LOUGHREA

Mountpleasant Cemetery in Loughrea is almost full to capacity and an extension is urgently required according to councillors. Officials told this week's meeting of the Town Council if the adjoining lands are not suitable for an extension then an alternative burial ground will have to be found.
