Date Published: 20-Feb-2008

The biggest problems in Ballinasloe are litter and anti-social behaviour. That's according to town councillor, Carmel Greally who says the site of 8 derelict houses on the approach road to the town does not give a good impression. This week's meeting of the town council heard, that in recent weeks, two unoccupied houses have been set on fire in the town, residents have been terrorised and other houses have become the venues for drinking parties.
