A voice for city tenants will be lost if the city council allows an outside agency run their rental accommodation scheme. That's according to Galway city councillor Billy Cameron who's expressing grave concern over a recent job ad by Threshold seeking to appoint a full time Tenancy Sustainment Worker to oversee the council's Rental Accommodation Scheme. Cllr Cameron believes councillors are the best people to represent tenants interests in dealings with the city council, not an outside agency.
