Community in shock following death of Ballygar man in Austria
Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Ballygar man has died following an accident in Austria. 35-year-old Paul Kilgarriff was killed after being hit by a train.
Paul taught in a national school in Adamstown in Dublin where he has been employed since 2009.It's understood he had been on a skiiing holiday in Austria when the accident occurred.His parents Margarette and Sean are former shop-owners in Ballygar and are from Main Street in the town.He has three brothers; two in Australia and one in Canada, and a sister who is based in Dublin.The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to the family.
