CLONFERT DIOCESE TO PUBLISH REPORT ON CHILD SAFETY

The catholic diocese of Clonfert will publish a report into child safe-guarding practices this morning.

It's among four dioceses to publish reviews- the others are Cork and Ross, Kildare and Leighlin and Limerick.

It's the second tranche of reviews by the Church's child protection watchdog, the National Board for Safeguarding Children.

Three religious congregations will also publish reviews - the Dominicans, the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart and the Spiritans.
