Claregalway woman who died following N17 crash named locally

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The woman who died following a road crash on the N17 yesterday has been named locally as Kathleen McKeon from Knockdoe in Claregalway. The driver who was aged in her seventies died at UHG following the two-vehicle incident which took place just before midday, near McHugh's pub. The driver and five occupants of the other car, including three children, were hospitalised with non-serious injuries. Kathleen McKeon was living in the area for over 20 years and was an active member of the parish choir in Lackagh. She is survived by her husband Pat and their daughter and three sons
