CLAREGALWAY SECONDARY SCHOOL COMMENCES ENROLMENT PROCESS

The enrolment process has officially begun for prospective students at the new Claregalway Post-Primary School.

Application forms have today been sent out to 112 parents and guardians who wish have indicated their interest in registering their children for the 2013/2014 school year.

County Galway VEC was announced as the patron for the new facility in July and preparations are now well underway for a September 2013 opening.

The students will be housed in temporary accomodation at a site in Claregalway, the location of which will be announced before the end of the year.

The Department of Education is currently assessing sites for a permanent building which is expected to go to construction in 2014/2015.

An enrolment information evening will be held on Thursday October 11th in the Claregalway Hotel at 8pm.
