City workshop on how charities can combat funding cuts

Charities and voluntary groups will attend a workshop in Galway city aimed at helping volunteers to meet the increasing demands of the public.

The half-day workshop, entitled 'From Storming to Performing' will help to raise the morale of charity and voluntary workers who are facing constant challanges such as cuts to funding.

The event will be run by 'The Wheel'- an organisation that trains non-profit workers, and will be facilitated by award winning coach William Corless of YellowWood.

The workshop will take place this day week May 3rd in Croi na Gaillimhe Resource centre on Mill Street.
