City to host national conference on older people

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A national conference on maximising the ability of older people will take place in the city tomorrow. Over 180 delegates from around Ireland will attend the sixth annual conference of the All-Ireland Gerontological Nurses Association. The event aims to explore how carers can create environments to maximise the potential of people with dementia while respecting their wishes, beliefs and values.
