CITY TO HOST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CARBON EMISSIONS

Over 75 scientists will gather in the city on Wednesday [Mar 7] to discuss carbon emissions and climate change.

The two and a half day "Carbochange" annual meeting to be hosted by NUI Galway is a large scale research project which has received seven million euro in funding from the EU.

28 research institutes will contribute from North America, Africa and Europe, including NUIG - representing the only Irish institute involved in the collaborative project.
