A solidarity march in support of Russian punk band Pussy Riot will take place in the city tommorow. (15/9)

Organised by NUI Galway's Feminist Society and Amnesty International, the event aims to highlight restrictions on free speech around the world.

In August, the band members were found guilty of hooliganism motivated by religious hatred and were handed down a 2-year jail sentence.

The walk will start at Spanish Arch at noon tommorow and will move towards Eyre Square where there will be a number of speeches and music.
