CITY PROTEST AGAINST SEPTIC TANK LEGISLATION

A protest is to take place in the city on Monday week [Dec 19] against new septic tanks legislation.

If follows two public meetings about the issue in the Connemara area over the last two days.

It has been decided that a demonstration will take place outside a meeting of Galway County Council on the 19th of December and that this may be followed by a protest at Leinster House.
