City councillor Frank Fahy has hit out at Galway county council over the untidy state of the county roundabouts on the approach to the city

The Fine Gael councillor told last night's city council meeting he's shocked by the 'grubby' state of the roundabouts

He proposed that the city council write to their county counterparts to highlight this problem

The proposal was seconded by Independent councillor Terry O'Flaherty
