CITY COUNCIL SEEKS REMOVAL OF EYRE SQUARE ARBITRATOR

Galway City Council is seeking the removal of Eyre Square Arbitrator Geoffrey Hawker from any future proceedings between the Council and the construction company that walked away from the Eyre Square Project two years ago.Today's Irish Times is reporting the Commercial Court has heard that Geoffrey Hawker was guilty of serious misconduct, had made errors in law and had a tendancy to fall asleep from 'time to time'.
