City Council review of traffic levels near junctions

Galway City Council is carrying out an assessment of traffic levels on approach roads to the city.

Traffic counting equipment has been laid on the N17 approaching the Tuam Road junction and on the roads approaching Ballybane and Briarhill junctions.

The Council wants to assess and compare the movement of traffic since the roundabouts were replaced with traffic light junctions.
