CITY AND COUNTY NOT AT ONE OVER PLANNED ARDAUN SUBURB

Galway county council is not in full agreement with Galway city council over the concept of the new suburb Ardaun according to councillor Peter Feeney.The multi million euro proposed suburb is a joint project between the councils because parts of Ardaun lie within the city and county council boundaries Councillor Feeney told last night's council meeting the feeling among many county councillors is Ardaun might not necessarily be a positive development for Galway .Councillor Feeney says he thinks the cost of Ardaun means the spend on infrastructure in other parts of the county will suffer.
