CAMPAIGN AGAINST HOUSEHOLD CHARGE TO TARGET GALWAY TD OFFICE

A protest will take place next week at the constituency office of Galway Labour TD Derek Nolan over the controversial household charge. (20/02)

The Galway campaign against the household charge is behind the demonstration which aims to create support for the non-payment of the levy.

The protest takes place outside Derek Nolan's office at the docks in the city next Monday afternoon. (2PM)

Meanwhile, a mass protest will take place this weekend in Williamstown against the 100 euro household charge.

The demonstration gets underway at 3.30 in the Parochial Hall on Sunday [Feb 19].
