Galway County Council and the National Road Authority must not begin anymore infrastructural projects until such a time that existing road works are finished. That's according to Oranmore Councillor Jim Cuddy. He says that many local roads are badly damaged as a result of certain infrastructural projects and should be reinstated to an acceptable condition.According to Councillor Cuddy, Galway County Council have stated that they do not have the funds to repair these roads, yet a lot of money has been spent on starting new projects such as the new road between Athenry and Tuam.He says that local people are fed up with the lack of road maintenance by the County Council and something needs to be done about it
