A serious dumping problem has developed at Curraghmore on the Galway Headford road and has led to a call for weekend duty by council wardens Fine Gael Councillor Jarlath McDonagh has visited the area and has seen all types of household utensils dumped and wire being burntHe believes the illegal dumping is taking place at the weekends when, due to lack of funding, there are no County Council wardens on dutyCllr McDonagh believes paying the wardens for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday could curtail the dumping at Curraghmore.
