CALL FOR ACTION ON ORANMORE WATER QUALITY

Date Published: 16-Mar-2012

Galway County Council must take urgent action to tackle water quality and discolouration issues in the Oranmore local supply.

That's according to Independent Cllr Jim Cuddy who say residents are concerned that the discolouration and sediment could pose a health risk.

He said council officials were due to visit the affected area this day last week but failed to show up.

Speaking to Galway Bay fm news, Cllr Cuddy says Council Officials have given an assurance that there is no health risk but fears still remain.
