BUSES OF GALWAY PROTESTORS TRAVEL TO DUBLIN

People have until midnight tonight to sign up to pay the government's Household Charge via direct debit, in four 25-euro installments.
The coalition aims to make 160 million euro from the fee, which is being replaced with a property tax from next year.
Meanwhile busloads of protestors from around Galway are travelling to Dublin later for a protest against the Household Charge, as well as water taxes and cuts to rural schools.
Connemara Organiser Padraic O'Conghaola says people are sick of paying for the government's mistakes.
