BOOK OF CONDOLENCE OPENED IN CITY HALL FOR SAVITA HALAPPANAVAR

The Mayor of Galway Terry O'Flaherty and members of Galway City Council's Corporate Policy Group have agreed to open a Book of Condolence for Savita Halappanavar
The 31 year old dentist had been living in the city and died on the 28th of October after contracting septicaemia following a miscarriage at University Hospital Galway.
The Book of Condolences has been opened by the Mayor in the last hour (2.15pm) sympathy with Savita's husband Praveen, with their family and friends and with the Indian Community in Galway
It can be signed at City Hall, College Road between 9am and 4pm daily until the end of the month.
