BONS SECOURS WORKERS TO GO TO LABOUR RELATIONS COMMISSION

Date Published: 04-Feb-2010
Workers at the Bon Secours Hospital group, including the Galway hospital, are headed for the Labour Relations Commission today to resolve a row over pay.
Staff were due to protest about wage cuts and lack of job security outside one of the groups hospitals in Glasnevin at lunchtime.
However the demonstrations have now been called off.
Union Spokesman Paul Bell says they want to avoid a strike across the country, including Renmore, next Monday.
